Snoopies

I can't ignore all of the excellent photos I've been compiling of my friends. I've begun a new body of work using those images as source material. I'm still working on the ball point pen portraits, but this is a nice change of pace. More to come, for now it's Jarod and Snoopy.

Y La Bamba flyer

I've been really into blue ball point pen lately. Its an absolutely common tool. Like pennies, you see them left behind, discarded and perfectly usable. Ball point pens give such a great variety of line, almost to the point of being able to blend gradual tones.
